Uber Hip Hop producer Swizz Beatz has praised Femi Kuti's latest album No Place For My Dream. Swizz Beatz who is married to Alicia Keys did so on his Instagram page. 'Great album. Congrats to Femi!!!!! Vibes....' was the caption below the picture of Femi Kuti's album posted by Swizz Beatz. No Place For My Dream was released in June this year and it is his 8th studio album.

In 2011, Swizz Beatz released an Afrobeat mixtape made up of samples from Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. It was called Swizz Beatz Vs. Fela Kuti and featured mash-ups of some of Fela's greatest hits and Swizz Beatz's famous productions. Swizz Beatz played a major role in the rise of the Ruff Ryders in the late 90's thanks to his production prowess on albums by DMX, EVE and The LOX. He is also a frequent collaborator of Jay Z.
