How did you develop your passion for music?
I picked interest in music when I was still in the secondary school! I started by listening to a lot of rap songs then and like me, Most of my friends were also miming rap songs of some foreign artistes like Big Daddy Kane (my favourite), Rakim,Fresh Prince,Naughty By Nature, Heavy D etc.
What do you call your Genre of music?My genre of music is hiphop (but the only difference is that I deliver my own hiphop in pidgin English & Igbo language

Why did you change your stage name from Nigga Raw to Mr Raw?
A lot of On Air Personalities complain a lot that NIG.G.A (NIGerian Guy Anakpo) sounds more like a swear word and it was affecting most of the news they would have loved to give to the public/listeners! The one that actually gave my the final push towards removing NIG.G.A from my name was the fact that most online site censored Nig.g.a Raw to N**** Raw or *****. Ppl. always send me mails to complain that they want to buy my songs online but can't seem to find the name "Nigga Raw".... to a point that I had to visit a couple of the online music sites, search for one of my songs and it popped up only for me to realize that Nigga had been censored to ****** Raw which means that "Nig.g.a was beginning to affect my business!

I believe its my Voice and my Igbotic way of rapping! =))
Who is your Role Model and Why?
My number 1 role model is my papa! He is a music lover and he provided a million and one LPs & Cassettes that I was listening to without even knowing that one day I will be a professional artiste! He supported me in a lot of ways too and he's a great Dad and a wonderful husband to his children and wife (my mom) respectively! =)). That's why he's my role model..........i want to be like him jor!
Apart from music what else do you love to do?
Music is all I love to do
What should your fans be expecting from you soonest?
A new album and new rhymes!..........forget the FAME; I am still the SAME!......
I am also working towards releasing some artistes albums before the end of 2012 under my own record label-Rawdeal Records. The names of these artistes are HYPE MC ( my younger brother), RANSOME, MINISTA BUSTA and a couple of other acts that I will soon finalize agreements with.
Do you have any regret in Life?
Nope I don't......everything that happens is an opportunity for us to learn new things and be wiser!. I have no regrets because I am busy counting my blessings!
