The Birth Of A New Label ''Dunca Records''

Dunca Records is the brainchild of acclaimed Artist, Sly Ugos (ANAEBI). Created as a wholly independent music label on May 28th 2011, Dunca Records immediately captured the world's attention with a Single Hit title Anaebi by Sly Ugos. Dunca is home to some of Africa’s most exciting musical talents with dozens of awards and hit singles between them. Chuddy, Sly Ugos, Regis (Best South Africa R&B Artist 2011 with Hit Song "I am in Luv" and da-Brain have all brought their diverse musical backgrounds to the fore. The result is a perfect blend of soul, hip-hop, R&B and Afrobeat.


The first album released under the label was Anaebi, a compilation album showcasing the talents of the Sly Ugos. Released to huge popular acclaim, the album has already become part of the national conversation "ANAEBI". The Dunca President and CEO, {Sly Ugos}, has predicted that the record label will soon be regarded as the “power house of music in Africa.” The star musical talent on the roster is matched by a strong backroom team that are all industry leaders in their respective fields.
