The Headies 2012 Next Rated artiste, Davido, has not quit school yet, not anytime soon till he cups his Bachelor’s degree next year. The flossy artiste caught everybody by surprise when he tweeted about school lectures today. @iam_Davido: Class was great 2day…. 1 more year baybee!! Den am a Bsc degree holder!!!
Davido (born David Adeleke) is a 19-year-old undergraduate studying Business Administrations in Babcock University, a performing/recording artiste and a music producer with a self-owned record label, HKN (HaKaN). His career somewhat started after he released his first video “Back When” which featured Storm Records rapper, Naeto C. Despite Davido’s sex scandal and other controversies, he did not back down.
He launched his debut album O.B.O (Omo Baba Olowo – The Genesis) trended on Sunday, 22nd July 2012, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, which pulled celebrities, city big boys & girls, the richest man in Africa/Nigeria “Aliko Dangote” in attendance. Davido now has six music videos, MTN N30million endorsement, an album and Headies award under his belt. Omo Baba Olowo is back to school.
